Enjoy an authentic Neapolitan experience at home with Piatto's handmade "The Stephanie" pizza. Hand stretched, thin crust dough is topped with extra virgin olive oil, tangy goat cheese, prosciutto crackle and sweet caramelized pears. After baking, drizzle with balsamic reduction (a package of balsamic reduction is included with each pizza).
Ingredients: Dough (wheat flour, water, sea salt, yeast), Herbed goat cheese (goat cheese [pasteurized goats milk, sea salt, bacterial culture, microbial enzyme], oregano, lemon juice, black pepper), Caramelized pears (pears, brown sugar, canola oil), Prosciutto (pork, salt, water), Olive Oil, Maple balsamic reduction (canola oil, balsamic vinegar [sulphites] sugars [maple syrup], Dijon mustard (water, mustard seeds, vinegar, salt, citric acid, sodium metabisulphite).

Piatto use ingredients and procedures regulated by the Italian governing association (VPN)—so you experience a "true" pizza like you would find in the energetic pizzerias in Naples, Italy (but without the airfare! ). It all starts with Tipo 00 flour (extremely low in gluten). Its fine, silky-smooth texture is key to the indescribable lightness of the Neapolitan crust. The only other ingredients are fresh yeast and sea salt. Once proofed, the dough is hand-stretched on marble countertops (no machines; no rollers), just as it has been in Naples for over 200 years.
